10 Secrets for Making Affirmations Work…that really work!

You were born with a Gift!

Each one of us was born with a gift. That gift is the power of the subconscious mind. We as humans have within, the ability to “call into existence things which do not exist”

The subconscious mind, our Aura and the universe, all work in tandem to help us to manifest our deepest desires so that we may enjoy them as reality.

The subconscious mind is consciousness, consciousness is energy, and all energy may be manipulated. Utilize your gift, utilize your inner power, and call into existence things which do not exist. Your subconscious mind will assist you.

How do affirmations work?

universeAffirmations work by penetrating our subconscious mind to cause what is affirmed and desired, to become reality.

According to Dr. Joseph Murphy, Author of the book “The Power of your Subconscious mind” Your Subconscious mind does not have the ability to argue or to dispute what it is told.

When we repeat our affirmations daily, it creates “deep grooves” in our subconscious mind, which helps us to attract or to achieve subconsciously our desired goal.

 

 

Affirmation Rule #1

 

  • Build the Energy! – Affirmations work because the more you say the affirmation, the more the energy of the Affirmation builds. When you say an affirmation for 21 days straight, without missing a day, you will experience the power and magnitude of your affirmation manifested.

I have affirmed abundance and wealth or 21 days straight without giving it too much thought.  During that time I had no financial worries or struggles, and I even received an unexpected “gift” of money when my “spending money” was getting low. The reason  is that prior to this day, for 21 days straight, I was using a money affirmation, so even when I didn’t have that much money in my bank account, My aura was able to quickly manifest more. I was so grateful to see that money appear in my bank account out of the blue.

Say your affirmation for 21 days straight without missing a day, allowing the energy of the affirmation to build and its power to manifest your desire.

Affirmation Rule #2

 

  • Repeat it! – Repetition is large part of what makes affirmations work. Repeat your affirmations as much as is comfortable for you. 2 xs per day is the minimum.

Say your affirmations at least once in the in the morning upon waking up. And Repeat your Affirmation at least once again at bedtime just before drifting off to sleep. It has been said that during these times the subconscious mind is more receptive to affirmations.

Another way to use repetition to make affirmations work, is to repeat each line of the affirmation 2 – 4 times.

Here is an example:

  • I am wealth (x4)
  • I am abundant (x2)
  • I am prosper (x2)
  • I am wealth (x4)
  • X2 = Repeat 2 times
  • X4 = Repeat 4 times

I find my affirmations are more powerful when I repeat each line 2 or 4 times.

Affirmation Rule #3

  • Become your affirmation! – When you choose or create an affirmation to work with, practice feeling the affirmation as if you are the energy of the thing you want to become or to manifest. This can easily be achieved by removing words that objectify the affirmation.
  1.                   “I am a money magnet” becomes> “I am money”
  2.                   “I am wealthy and happy” becomes> “I am wealth, I am Joy.”

I have had great success using affirmations by removing words that cause separation between me and the energy of the affirmation.  Try it for yourself.


Affirmation Rule #4

  • Elevate your feelings – A great way to make affirmations work for you is to say them with elevated feelings and emotion. I have found that when I say my affirmations with elevated emotions, this creates an energetic “attraction glue” that quickly brings together all the important pieces of your affirmation, which help it manifest.

Another way to achieve success using affirmations is by feeling the feelings of the affirmation manifested. Neville Goddard said it best.

“You must assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled until your assumption has all the sensory vividness of reality. You must imagine that you are already experiencing what you desire. That is, you must assume the feeling of the fulfillment of your desire until you are possessed by it and this feeling crowds all other ideas out of your consciousness.” – Neville Goddard

 

Affirmation Rule #5

  • Affirm it in the Present tense – Make references only to what is not what was or is going to be.

If we affirm….“I will make a million dollars by May 2020”

Our conscious the reasoning mind, tends to provide us with reasons why we cannot make 1 million dollars by 2020.

If we change the affirmation to “I make 1 million dollars”

The conscious mind has nothing to reason or to dispute. There is no reference to the past or to the future. You are stating a fact and the subconscious, the passive mind goes about its business making the statement reality.

The subconscious mind will believe what it is given as long as we bypass the reasoning tendency of the conscious mind, by stating the affirmation in the present tense.

Affirmation Rule #6

  • Begin with “I am” – Begin your affirmation with the phrase “I am” in the affirmation and your subconscious mind will believe you and make the affirmation true.

I was watching a YouTube video about 3 months ago. It was about a couple who met online and then got married and now had a baby and a house that they owned together.

The man said when he saw the woman’s photo on line, he said to his roommate. “I am going to marry that woman!” And so he did.

There is great power in “I am.” Always use the words “I am” In your affirmations, and your subconscious mind will to all it can to make the statement true.

Affirmation Rule #7

  • Embellish – I always take time when someone needs my attention – it’s fantastic that I give people attention whenever they need it

This is my favorite rule for using affirmations. When using affirmations to train your subconscious mind to attract what you want, it doesn’t have to be accurate to work, this means we can embellish our affirmations and have fun in creating them. Be careful though the Universe doesn’t understand laws as us earth bound beings do.

My Embellished Affirmation Experiment

I once decided to create an outlandish affirmation just to see what would happen.

“Every day thousands of dollars gets deposited into my bank account”

One day I walked into the bank to withdraw some money at the machine and found that the person before me had left their bank card inside ATM and their transaction was midway. I tried to choose the best button to quit the transaction but the machine wouldn’t let me. Finally on my second attempt it released the card and I quickly brought it to the bank manager.

It’s ok to embellish when using affirmations, but just expect that you may encounter some outlandish manifestations.

Affirmation Rule #8

  • Affirm the Positive – State what you wish to be, do not state the words of what you want to avoid.

“I will no longer be fat and unattractive in 2016.” 

This is not a good example of how to construct a weight loss affirmation.

When we say affirmations we always want to keep them positive and state words only of that which affirm what we want, and avoid using words that reflect or represent what we do not want.

A better affirmation for weight loss would be…

“I am slim and attractive in 2016.”

Affirmation Rule #9

Visualize! – Affirmations are so powerful when combined with Visualization. Next time you say your affirmations, try closing your eyes, and visualize in movement and in color, your Affirmation playing out before. Visualization gives affirmations a power punch, to manifest faster and with ease! If you can’t visualize, then try imagination.

Affirmation Rule #10

  • Believe! – The biggest reason why Affirmations don’t work for some people is that they believe affirmations cannot help them.

This “belief” that affirmations don’t work is an affirmation in and of itself that will cause affirmations not to work.

I never used to believe in the power of affirmations, but one day I was desperate to change my circumstances. I decided to try an affirmation the next morning in the shower, just to see if it would do anything…I had an excellent day that day.  I thought maybe that was just “a lucky day for me” so I tried the same affirmation the next morning again in the shower. I had a great day again!

Keep an affirmations Journal

 

bookIt is good practice when using affirmations to keep a journal of all of the ways your subconscious mind has helped you to manifest your desires.

Some affirmations are more powerful than others; an affirmations journal is a great way to take note of which affirmations manifested which results.

I keep an affirmations/manifesting journal and every now and then I enjoy reading through my manifestations just for the enjoyment of reliving my manifestations.

4 things impacting your reality and you don’t even know it

  1. manifesting cancel thatYour spoken words – People don’t realize that your words create reality. Be careful what you ask for. If you say something and wish it not to manifest, you can simply say “cancel that” out loud and the universe will know you do not wish to manifest that.
  2. Your minds pictures – When I speak of your mind I mean the things we visualize in a relaxed state. Things we visualize or dream of in a relaxed state have power to manifest. Pay attention to dream of things you desire only to happen, not things you do not want to manifest as reality
  3. visualizationyour thoughts – thoughts are powerful too. They accumulate and build in energy. People think thoughts are harmless, but thoughts send out energy. That is what we are energy beings. Watch your thoughts they effect your reality and experiences.
  4. your desires – things we desire often come to pass. That is because things we want, are created by us. It could be a car, a person, an amount of money. Use affirmations to affirm to the universe those things you do want to come to pass.
  5. Things you read about – This is a tough one. Most people are unaware, that the “stuff” they read about affects their subconscious mind. If it affects your subconscious it affects your reality. What is the Aura ?

What is the Aura ?
Everything in the Universe seems to be just a vibration. Every atom, every part of an atom, every electron, every elementary “particle”, even our thoughts and consciousness are just vibrations. Hence, we may define the Aura as a electro-photonic vibration response of an object to some external excitation (such as an ambient light for example). This definition is sufficient for the purpose of reading Auras, providing that we can train ourselves to see the Aura vibration.

The most important property of the Aura seems to be the fact that it contains INFORMATION about the object. (including about people)

Aura around living (conscious) objects (people, plants …) changes with time, sometimes very quickly. Aura around non-living object (stones, crystals, water…) is essentially fixed, but can be changed by our conscious intent. Above facts have been observed by scientists in Russia, who have been using Kirlian effect to study Auras for the last 50 years.




The Aura around humans is partly composed from EM (electromagnetic) radiation, spanning from microwave, infrared (IR) to UV light. The low frequency microwave and infrared part of the spectrum (body heat) seems to be related to the low levels of the functioning of our body (DNA structure, metabolism, circulation etc.) whereas high frequency (UV part) is more related to our conscious activity such as thinking, creativity, intentions, sense of humor and emotions. Russian scientists, who seem to be about 3 decades ahead of everyone else in Aura research, make experiments suggesting that our DNA can be altered, by influencing its microwave Aura. The high frequency UV part is very important and most interesting but largely unexplored. And this part can be seen with naked eyes.

Why do we need to see auras ?
Colors and intensity of the aura, especially around and above the head have VERY special meanings. Watching someone’s aura you can actually see the other person’s thoughts before you hear them expressed verbally. If they do not agree with what this person is saying, you effectively see a lie every time. No one can lie in front of you undetected. We cannot fake the Aura. It shows our True Nature and intentions for everyone to see.

Also, aura is our spiritual signature. When you see a person with a bright, clean aura, you can be SURE that such person is good and spiritually advanced, even if he/she is modest and not aware of it. When you see a person with a gray or dark aura, you may be almost SURE, that such person has unclear intentions, regardless how impressive, eloquent, educated, “good looking” or “well dressed” he/she seems to appear.

By reading Aura it seems possible to diagnose malfunctions in the body (diseases) long before physical symptoms become evident. By consciously controlling your Aura you can actually heal yourself.

However, healing of the physical body is nothing in comparison to what seeing and reading auras can do for our consciousness, spiritual development and our awareness of Nature.

Everyone has an Aura. But most people on Earth have VERY WEAK and dull Auras. This seems to be a direct consequence of their life long materialistic attitude negating and suppressing the development of consciousness, cultivating fear, envy, jealousy and other similar emotions. Such attitude suppresses their True Nature, and their Auras seem to become suppressed too.

When you learn to see Auras, be prepared for a REALLY HARD question: “Can you tell me what my Aura is ?” and the situation when you don’t see any Aura or you see something you don’t want to talk about. One of the best answers I found is “why don’t you learn to see it for yourself ? “. And this is one of the main reasons why I teach people to see auras.

When people realize that their Aura is on display and many people are able to see it, they will watch what they think. And they will try to see and improve their own Aura. In the process they will become better and wiser, being able to recognize intentions of other people. Surely, the entire world will become much better if all people can see and read Auras.

Children and the Aura:
Very young children (up to 5 years of age) see auras naturally. Infants frequently look ABOVE a person in front of them. When they don’t like the color of the aura above the head, or if this color is much different from their parent’s aura, they cry, no matter how much smiling the person does.

Children have much cleaner and stronger auras than most of adults, who are usually completely enslaved by the materialistic world and suppress their Nature by following superficial examples. When I taught my 12 year old son to see his own Aura, he told me that when he was little he was able to see Auras most of the time. But no one paid any attention, so he thought that it was not important and maybe there was something wrong with his eyesight. This is a typical scenario. In my opinion children should learn to see and read Auras in a primary school, so they never lose this natural ability.

Stop Poverty: 5 Subconscious mind Tips to attract wealth and stop poverty

  1. Prepare for wealth: Most people who are poor is because they prepare for poverty. The universe is abundant, it will give you more. Prepare to accept wealth and abundance.

  3. Give Money Away: Giving money away tells the universe that you are “financially optimistic.” The universe will then give you more money. Positive energy attracts positive energy. Holding on to money is a restrictive energy…we are not about that. We want our money to flow.
  4. Enjoy Your Money: Every time I get paid I do two things. Celebrate by taking my self out to eat something I love. …And…I give money away to a homeless person on the street. The universe keeps magically increasing my profits based on these two things. Maybe its that positive energy thing I mentioned earlier.
  5. Create Things: You cant get paid if you dont give people a reason to give you their money. Write a book, build a blog, become a vlogger, sell some stuff on etsy, babysit some kids…do some things to earn some cash, and then do some more things to earn some more cash. To have cash there has to be some work involved. Poverty is a choice…you can choose wealth.
